I refreshed trivago’s brand identity which had been the same for over 15 years with smirky and cheerful illustrations, and a new symbol to showcase the positive user experience that’s felt after using Trivago.
I redesigned Trivago to have a new logo consisting of a winking eye representing “search savvy” and smirky smile “feel super”.
With Trivago being intentional about making costumers feel at home wherever they may find themselves through booking with them, i took inspiration from those values and designed it’s identity to host some architectural patterns found in the home of Trivago, Germany, Dusseldorf.
